new games are going to have new ways of playing..

the ds mic is used much more.. no$gba support this feature which is great.. but not everybody is able to do it (even if there are ways) maybe make a new button with some short noise sound which is send to ds-mic input.

another thing is the ability to close no$gba like u would close a real DS. i dont know what the ds does if u close it.. maybe only the lights turn off or some special signal is send.. maybe safemode?..wel.. but new games use this feature for some nasty puzzles.. without this it wont go further.. we just need it :)

hope u make it.. lookin forward.. keep up the great work!

Wait what? There are DS games that actually have you closing the DS as part of the game? I've never heard of it (could you name a few?). Normally when you close the system the thing enters hibernation mode and the screens/speakers do turn off, but if it's actually used as part of the game then some input is being sent into the game. Hmm...interesting...

Yeah, i think all they want you to do is wear out your Ds and buy a new one.

But in Mario it goes and does the mario laugh or pipe when you close and open i laughed when i heard it.

yep zelda is the first one i know..

in order to get the 3rd sea map ull have to copy some stamp from the top screen map to the buttom screen map .. well and u do this by closing your ds.

thx ive read about the get-around with the mic.. but this would need of install a new programm.. well i got my mic working as i switch my soundcards.. but as i heard of most games only need simlple noise to activate some.. thought it would be nice having a choise.. blow the mic 10 seconds or something like press F9 3times for 12sec noise nah'mean?

Be patient you little fool....what good are features if the games that require them don't even run propperly yet?
First compatibility (2D and 3D work) and speed need to be sorted out, only then would it be time to worry about all the other little features like turning the screens for Hotel Dusk for instance and others.

u seem to be the fool.. i played a big part of the game at 60-140% ingame .. well it doesnt look as nice as it should and the sound is a lil crappy, but the game is running very propperly...

and i wasnt talkin about turning some screens ... something happen to the ds if u close it while ingame ... the emu should be able to do that too!

oh and first a emulator should be able to emulate all of the system features, after that comes compatibility and then the speed.

Why don't you make your own emu then?

O yes right let's just ignore 1000 other games and add stuff just for this.
You're worse than one of those pokefreaks if you expect that.

As long as speed is off and sound is off, the mic won't be able to propperly work either. They are all related to each other. Think about it...if you are playing the game sped up, then won't the mic also seem sped up to the emu? same as when it runs to slow...and if music stutters then mic input would also stutter would it not?

u cannot tell me 1000 games which are not working
but i can tell u 1000 games which are not worth playing

to add such lil feature like "closing the ds" sould be a thing of at last 30min for somebody who was able to write a emulator. it is nothing against "why is xy game not starting" also because this emu has a great compatibilty.

with your computer u should be able to run almost every game at 100 or more %

oh and how many feature can u tell me that no$gba doesnt support? dont say wifi!

None of the games are being emulated near-perfect. So yes, I can tell you 1,000 games that need attention. Getting these to work better is more important than implementing a feature for one game.

Many of the glitches are also interconnected and effect many games, so it isn't just about "making 1,000 crap games work", it's about making all games work well. I wouldn't want an emulator that had half 3D support, ran at 25% speed, but did all the little things like closing a DS.

Developers have lives too, so their dev time is precious. Wasting it on petty features this early on is a bad idea.

thx but i dont understand how to use ARDS codes in no§gba, i dont want to know why and how its working.. i just want it to work.. thats why i dont read the ards jungle ;)

and those other three guys who think their smart.. keep on dreaming u stupid children.. a emulator does only work because the whole system got emulated.. if u ever look into the no$gba options ull see alot of different options u are not able to use..

and only because everyone thought it wouldnt be needed noone added an option to "close" i just said: it is needed and i think it should be added. i did because somebody might not know that it is needed.

and all u can do is complain that the speed is not right? sound is too crappy? speed is only @25% ? simple solution! fix your computer... what do you expect? we all should be happy that the games are running.. lil glitches, a sprite is not set right? somebody said things are connected..

man! this is a emulator in early stage! games does not run 100% perfekt like a ds plays em.. and they wont the next 2-5 years maybe.. and they tell me im a fool.. u ever been in the emulation scene?!

maybe zelda is the first game which uses this feature, but it wont be the last for sure! maybe this also would fix some other games, only because the emu is a lil more close to hardware ds.

You have no Idea buddy. The developer of No$GBA may do a very good job with the games, but you totally forgett that there are still things in Hardware and Software that he hasnt discoverd yet. What he would have to do is to add an Hibernationsupport for the Emulator and that is not so easy as you may think. So just be patient and let him do what he does best. got it?

Dont forget that No$GBA now is the only Emulator that has an Solarsensor(That is only needed for Boktai) and the real E-reade emulation. That is GBA Emulation and he did what where others where unintrested or gave up.

lol yeah :) but i never said: martin! hurry! we need this! now! do a quik update and release it! please! do it! now! martin! plz ... hahahaha so i am patient ..

martin maybe never thought about adding hibernationsupport.. well i dont know how eazy it is.. or how hard.. all i know is that it is needed. and thats all i said.. the rest is up to martin "superbrain" korth

Most of the games run 60-80% of what they should be on my PC. (not that's not what the emulator shows, that's what I personally assume).
Even realtime, is not quite as fast as it should be yet...it's more sluggish than a real DS.
In fact I am just about certain that there is a cap on how well the emulators can run...I doubt Hiei has MUCH better performance than me.
There's lot's more to do than worry about some little feature for 1 game.

I never knew Zelda fanboyism was this bad.

and those other three guys who think their smart.. keep on dreaming u stupid children.. a emulator does only work because the whole system got emulated.. if u ever look into the no$gba options ull see alot of different options u are not able to use.. Closing the lid to induce sleep mode is hardly vital to emulating a DS.

and only because everyone thought it wouldnt be needed noone added an option to "close" i just said: it is needed and i think it should be added. i did because somebody might not know that it is needed.
Here's an Action Replay code that turns on Sleep Mode.
EDIT* Aww, screw it. I can't get it to work. tons of noob mistakes that I should have caught too.

and all u can do is complain that the speed is not right? sound is too crappy? speed is only @25% ? simple solution! fix your computer... what do you expect? we all should be happy that the games are running.. lil glitches, a sprite is not set right? somebody said things are connected..
I was never complaining. I said that I'd rather have a properly emulated emulator than have petty features such as a way to toggle sleep mode on and off. Your lack of reading comprehension skills is appalling.[/quote]

man! this is a emulator in early stage! games does not run 100% perfekt like a ds plays em.. and they wont the next 2-5 years maybe.. and they tell me im a fool.. u ever been in the emulation scene?!
Exactly, so the focus should be on getting the basics done first.
With the way you type I'd bet you haven't been "in the scene" for too long either.

maybe zelda is the first game which uses this feature, but it wont be the last for sure! maybe this also would fix some other games, only because the emu is a lil more close to hardware ds.Trust me, you could get a lot closer to hardware by focusing on proper emulation, then speed, then little features such as what you so desperately want.

Erm, I made a mistake, so I updated my post.
And no, it's not in AR v3 format.

It could be converted.

Edit, gah, I can't get it to work. Sorry I couldn't help you there.

A window rotator, double / quadruple window size. A full screen split screen for both windows and the option to flick between just one window in full screen mainly the game play screen it'd be good to if anti-aliasing could be implemented as well an the option of either directx or opengl.

AA....on a tiny screen like that....wtf????
Pixlising happens if you resize something that small by that much.

But yes this is not a feature request thread and it\\\'s pointless to make one here....let martin add what he wants to eventually...I bet you just jumped in and never read the huge argument we already had about feature requests.

I like to think of them as more suggestions rather than demanding requests.
