With the release of Wine version 0.9.39, there was a bugfix that fixed the GLXBadDrawable error that occurred when one tried to boot most games with no$gba.
Now games boot in no$gba under Linux just fine, no extra setup required.
Now note that there is a performance difference between running under Wine and Windows.
The menu of Sonic Rush, which emulated at full speed for me in Windows, runs under Wine at about 80% full speed. This lack of speed makes music choppy etc.
There are also 3D errors. Sonic never appeared on the Character Selection screen, nor on the world map. He isn't visible in gameplay either.
This is so cool. I would, however, recommend that Linux users use DeSmuMe, which has a native Linux port.
So anyway, just an FYI for those who wanted to crap around with no$ under Linux.
Maybe I'll post screenies when I'm not so pressed for time.
