Will this work, cuz there appeared to be online functions in the new pokemon game, like online trade, and online battle. Is that part yet Emulated? or isnt that possible?

WiFi is not yet emulated to the point where you can use it.

How would WiFi be emulatable? I mean, the DS connects to the wireless DS network and authenticises it. If one tried to connect through an emulator, then the best situation I can think of would be an error message regarding a not unique ID, because someone else would be connected first.
But it is certainly more complicated than that. Only you developers and beta testers probably know about it.

maybe not in the official nintendo server, but your own server.

For NO$GBA, well it will be very difficult trying to link a computer to a DS (Not saying it is impossible). The only best solution is to create either a system like Kaillera or LAN, OR don't bother and just make it linkable through the multiple windows that is already usable. What bugs me though is that there is only 1 mouse with 2 screens.

@Dark_Force9999: Dont forget the system requirements needed for 2xDS emulation ;).
I think that WiFi with the world is possible but we have to create our own server for it(as if we know how to do it) and link the emu to it.

The emulator would get it's own WiFi ID just like a real game, storing it in the firmware. This, of course, would require a firmware image.
This is like saying you can't use wifi with pirate roms because somebody already is using the rom.
As long as you can get the packets from the emulator to your router, (and thus the internet) you should be golden. (In theory, of course. :P)

Hmm well I have always been primarily a single-player gamer. I doubt my connection could even handle me playing over WiFi very often once it is supported if it ever will be.
So I am not too bothered about WiFi aside from getting a few extra Yu-Gi-Oh! cards or any other extra content.
It's a nice bonus, but not a must for me.
