Quick question. How do I save my options in my firmware on the emulator? You know, when you go to options and it makes you turn off the "DS" after you change anything. Help:???:

if you want to save your emu changes you can go to save setup, but you can't save your options in your firmware it's not supported.

Dump your own firmware.

I'm trying to find a guide for that. Know a good one and what cables I would need to buy to do it?

you can make the changes you want in your firmware with starting with GBA BIOS and then reset with STARTING CARDIDGE DIRECTLY..You ll play the game under the settings you changed..But you have to do that all the time..:(

Why is it so that the firmware's settings are not saved. Is it because it is because the emulator cannot change it or the firmware dosent allow it?

well the emulator doe not support the firmware changings, all you have to do is wait for the next release, NEVER ASK WHEN there will be posts if it is on release or just be updated on the main site...

This emulator will never suport firmware changes cause the firmware is part of your own files.

but thinking of it there are too many people who wants to edit other firmware for there personal use (even its illegal) well there will be a software to edit eh!

why not, sigmax? It can go the nullDC approach to this whole thing : changes settings but does not change the actual file (By making a new file with the changes from your firmware file).

Roms download = piracy.
Firmware and Bios download = piracy.
All is piracy.

Before they close this thread with you all talking about downloading firmware and stuff, can anyone tell me what cables I need to buy to dump my own firmware and stuff? Also, kinda off topic, but how would I update the firmware on my DS, I heard a new release of it came in '05 or something..

well piracy is like stealing, but well who cares, just make sure no one makes a copy on your own files, ok that will be fine...

i agree that all is piracy (well somehow) but as long as u dont sell it and other give you, its like sharing a TV with someone who dosent own as you dont get loss but the company dosent get a profit either.
