Hi. I have recently been playing Fire Red on VBA (with the vba-over file), and I thought I'd load my save on NO$GBA to trade between that and another save. After I saved in that I tried to import the save back into VBA to play. When I did, it gave me the infamous "The 1M Sub-Circuit board is not installed" message. I haven't received this message since I downloaded the 'patch' file.

Just so you know, my save setting is at 128kb flash. I also edited the config in NO$GBA so that its saves aren't compressed. Though for some reason, the NO$GBA save is 137kb. Is this the problem?

Please help!

By the way, the reason I don't just play it in NO$GBA is because it seems to mess up the graphics a lot.

Will also post on the VBA thread, as this relates to both emus

probably because the no$gba header in the file, tried removing with a hexadecimal editor? or a tool called no$gba to vba or something like that...

I tried the program, followed all the instructions, and it still didn't work! I'll try hex editing, though I'm not sure if mine supports .SAV files.

Mine supports it, but how much do I delete? Not that familiar with hex editing, unless you tell me what does what. (hacked insaniquarium deluxe)

try reading tutorials on the net or learn by your self, do you get it, it is something programmers learn (its a first step for a programmer to learn hexa and binary)
