I'm no expert but I would say you have a bad dump. Try redumping the rom and then encrypt it. Just a thought.

Don't patch it before you encrypt it, it has to be the raw dump.
Only patch it after you encrypt it.

You don't even need to encrypt/decrypt anymore though do you?

yep that was the problem, i tried to encrypt while the rom was patched. now a new problem came up. when i load the rom, its telling me that the encrypted cartrige cant function without the bios files. funny thing is that i have the those files in my folder (firmware, bio7 and bio9)
edit: for some reason the names of my bio files were biosnds7.rom.rom and i just renamed it. But still my screen is blue when i try to load the game. i encrypted the rom and i patched it. and the screen is still showing me blue, what am i doing wrong?

That's a new one...check the bug topic and if it's not there then post it there aswell....
No you don't need to encrypt it anymore if you set it to load the cartridge directly but I just prefer going through the firmware and maybe others do too.

the blue screen seems to be a common problem now.

no, i perfer to just patch it without encrypt/decrypt anything, just have the bios files , make sure their named right.
and once you patch the file you should get the blue screen, just go to the emu's menu (F11) and change the settings that need to be changed and it should run after that.
the blue screen seems to be a common problem now.
if you patched it right and got the blue screen then your on the right path, and did what you needed to do correctly. just press F11 and change the nds backup cartridge media to 512k and if you want , you can change some other settings that will make the rom running smoother/faster (look for those on other threads)
guys, just re-read the threads.
