View Full Version : how do i use the no$gba with bios7&9 files?

Ok I got the bios 7&9 from my ds and the firmware and now i want to know how to use them with the no&gba emulator. I cant seem to find an instruction section on how its done. also second question is the bio7 & 9 file really 16 & 4 kb? or did i do it wrong? thx in advance.

Just drop them in the folder in which you extracted no$gba to.

Yeah I know...I often have problems loading ngemu pages so I preload some every once in a while and you responded on this thread whilst I was responding to you on that other thread...so I never saw your response till I had made my own.

How sure are we that whoever comes up and says he dumped his own bios is actually telling the truth? If u have an nds why do u want an emulator? Load your dumped roms from the cartridges you own... and play them on the emulator... i dont think so

Emulators are great for taking screenshots, recording videos or ripping sprites. They can be also used to do things that are impossible on the regular hardware like enhanced visuals, better cheat code management, multiple savefiles not limited to what the authors of the game impose on you or (in case of the handhelds) bigger display. It's not like they're used only as a replacement for the hardware...

And about your question, as long as they don't come here openly saying they got it illegally which breaches the rules it's not anyone's problem. There are way too many people who come here and the emu authors/forum moderators have lives too, which can be better spent than investigating 69000+ people.

BunnyPie did u read at all above regarding how it's illegal to ask anything like that openly on this forum? some people's ignorance on this forum really gets me to the nerves these days...

Well I woulda said the same thing...just he's german so he probably read some of it, understood 1 or 2 things and then assumed the rest.
