i've mapped all the controls and the configuration works in bios mode where one can change the system settings but the keyboard stops functioning as soon as the game is loaded.
i would really appreciate some help with this.
thank you

That's a new one on me.Are you sure the game is compatible with NullDC?

Are you using a wireless keyboard?

it's "sword of the berserk". i'm using a genuine PS/2 keyboard.

Well there are bugs in Sword of the Berserk from what I've heard but that's not one of them. You said it's a genuine PS/2 keyboard? If that's a usb keyboard then that might be the problem.I don't think NullDC reads usb keyboard input yet (though I could be wrong). If you have any kind of usb pad you could solve this problem with joytokey.

my keyboard is plain normal. it's not on usb. i have the same input problem with "karous". i can actually play both games in chankast and i would play them in nullDC if it weren't for this stupid issue. i repeat, the input works when used in the dreamcast bios, but it all goes down the drain in-game, when prompted with the "press start/any button" message.

Try configuring the keys again. None of the buttons work?

finally..i got it to work. i'm using the letter buttons. it was the numpad's "fault" all along. i usually use it when playing emulated games, but it seems that i couldn't with nulldc, even though i had mapped it.
anyway, i can finally play at ease. thank you for your help.
cheers!
