Greetings from South America. I hope you can help me with this. I was trying to run the game Royal Rumble in the NullDc without results. This game requires the utopia disk, since it is not an autoboot one. I created an image from Royal Rumble through CloneCD and also I loaded an image of the utopia disk by Daemon Tools, because I have a very slow CD-R device (8x). The problem is that I can run the utopia disc image in the nulldc very well, but once I try to play the Royal Rumble image through daemon tools the emulator does not do nothing. Someone could tell me if it is that the emulator cannot handle games that require utopia disk yet or if it is a problem in the creation of the game image? I am using the plugins ZnullGD and the null aica video.oO

I'm not 100% sure but I think the emulator can't handle it just yet, I had the same problem when I was testing out some of my old games and It wouldn't read my games like that either.

maybe this is your problem?:
Please note that original Dreamcast discs (GD-ROMs) are special discs that cannot be accessed by common PC DVD/CD drives.
Because of this it is not possible to run these discs directly on an emulator. The only way to run such a disc is
to make a backup copy (a dump) of it using some "special" methods either by using a Dreamcast or a modified PC DVD/CD drive.

Cause I tried making an image from a GD-ROM too and it didn't work at ALL.

don't know if this is the problem...

i only tried backup cd's or images, it works with chankast but not yet with nulldc (as far as I know ). It might work in the next release though.
