I've seen quite a few people say they've run this game at or near 100%. What settings are you folks using to achieve this? I've tried just about every combination of plugins and settings I could think of and I can't get past 60% in matches, and 80% on the character selection screen (and it actually runs slightly slower with no sound). I followed the readme and I have everything it tells me I should have, but I can't help but think that maybe I overlooked something.
System:
WinXP
P4 3.0 GHz
1GB DDR
ATI Radeon 9800 PRO

I almost have the same setup as you
XP Pro
P4 3.2 (oc)
1.5 gig DDR 550mhz
6800GT
It runs at 98-100% give or take. I use default Null settings. I even run it at 1920x1080 on my 46 XBR, runs perfect.
I'll get back on this topic later, I have to do something right now.

i have similiar comp -> 70%-80% matches ,100% char screen ... maybe U have some programs running in background ?get new gfx drivers ,check if U have some antialiasing/other effects turned on (ati tray tools or catalyst etc.) also there was buggy ati radeon 9800pro on market some time ago(1-2 series) ;] dunno rly...just guessing ;]

I would certainly check the video driver settings for opengl in catalyst drivers as yemeth says. Forced VSync, and AA can slow the emulator down for sure on a 9800 Pro. Use task manager to ensure you have enough available resources, and report back. Also report statistics from taskman from while the emulator is running in-game.

I picked up the latest Catalysts and made sure VSync and AA were off/at the lowest, and everything else is set for performance. In a match I'm using 67-68% CPU, and I've still got more than half my physical memory left - World of Warcraft runs much harder than NullDC but runs without a hiccup.

So system idle process sits at ~30% ? Or are other processes using some of the processor ? Try settings nullDC.exe priority to high and see if the CPU% changes. If idle is ~30% and you it doesn't go up, you are limited elsewhere, make sure your memory is configured properly in the bios if you have 800mhz ddr.
6800GT Is AGP16x ?
What main board ?

nullDC pulls about 50%, 10% goes to "system", and the remaining 40% or so is idle. When set to high priority, null gained a percent or two, but little else changed.

Hmm.. I smell Hyperthreading mess (and maybe Versioned Textures slowdown)... just give those things a try:
Run the emulator and make sure that you use nullPVR (go to "Options->Select Plugins" and check if nullPVR is the PowerVR plugin, if not then select and use it). Then press OK and go to "Options->PowerVR" and disable the "Versioned Textures" option.
If you don't see a speed increase after that then do the following:
Run the emulator.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the task manager.
Click on the Processes tab and find "nullDC_100b1.exe".
Right-click on "nullDC_100b1.exe" and then click on "Set Affinity...".
You should have 2 options there CPU 0 and CPU 1.
If one of the options is not enabled then enable it, if both are enabled then disable the second one.
Click OK.
Did that work? :)

Unfortunately, I've already done those things with no noticeable change...

Are you running the game from a real cd or an image?

It's in cdi format.

What kind of ram ? DDR333 ? DDR400 ? dual channel ?

If your cpu has HT then that cpu usage is expected.

PC3200 (DDR400). Mobo doesn't support dual channel, unfortunately.

Well , that is a good reason for a slowdown..Still strange tho.

As a huge SFII fan this is like one of my favorite games. This game runs at full speed with no glitches for me with Anti Aliasing off. I am using a Pentium D 820 2.8GHz (Dual-Core), 1GB DDR2, GEforce 7300GT DDR2 256mb card.
I do have a question though... I am running this on my 37"LCD through VGA and through no fault of the nulldc (its the game) the character sprites have jaggies. I cant turn on Anti aliasing because it causes big glitches in the chararcters. What graphics card would you reccomend I get that would allow me to run this game on nulldc at a decent or (high lol) resolutiuon with anti aliasing that would smooth out the jaggies on the character sprites to make this great game even better looking on bigger screens?

You should start playing decent 3d games instead of sprite based ones =P.All cards have problems with the sprites , its b/c of the way the game was made.

HA! I do play 3d games of course but I must admit I still love 2d fighters like SFII, guilty gear x.. etc.
So there is no way to smooth out the characters on Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001?

RE: Oro's pc:
No Dual Channel, HT Enabled and you still haven't told me which motherboard or what bus type the 9800 is on.
I'd advise your motherboard is likely the bottleneck for mulitple reasons, you can try disabling HT in the bios, but I wouldn't expect much more from a board that only handles DDR400 single channel.
Sprite Jaggies:
There are a few ways to go about it, when we finish the release build I will have more time to look into it.

ECS PT800CE-A, 8x AGP. I've basically come to the same conclusion - it's probably something I can't really change until I get new hardware.

hmm have strange problem with this game -> every other 2d fighter works (usually) "perfect" ... tho in Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 sprites are glithy (it looks bad)... and ive just checked third copy of this game with same result:/ ...
antialiasing, vsync, etc. all off in gfx card settings...checked 10x all settings in nulldc (ive even turned everything off in gfx card) still look crappy ;/ ,any thoughts ?;]
nvm ... ive maximised nulldc window before lunching game and there are no glitches at all ^^

The game plays fine for me with a solid 60 fps default settings using Windows Vista Ultimate, E6600 CPU, 8800GTX video card, 2 GB DDR2-1000 ram. My CPU shows between 40-45% and my memory runs about 50%.

Hey TC, use the CHankast sound plugin, it should be faster than the default one :)
