I want to know if it's just me or is anyone else having sound problem with Marvel vs Capcom 2.
After playing for awhile (3-4 battles) the sound effects and voices starts to lag and sometimes skips. If it is a problem I hope it would be fix on the next release because I enjoy playing this on my Sony 46 XBR.
BTW I have it on my Dreamcast. If only I have a VGA adapater, I'll try it with my XBR but sadly I don't have one and it's really hard to find them online.

yea i have the same problem. i keep wondering why everyone else says the game is PERFECT, even though it isnt. the sound lags and then just goes away all together but the music still plays. also there are various minor grafx glitches.

Wierd, in my short time that I tested this thing, I have more problems in MVC2 using Chankast audio plugin than the nullAICA plugin.

tested it again 5 min ago -> in null (default) aica sound lags even on char select screen -> chankast aica lags only when i perform some 2-3 char specials... anyway -> chankast aica works for me ^^

Also when playing with or against Anakaris (the sarcophagus from Darkstalkers) the sound gets totally horrible even when the character is beaten or changed.

I've experienced this even when playing on an actual Dreamcast so I do not believe it is the emulator's fault. The 'mono' tip does work though.

I *know* this used to happen to my version of MvC2 because I remember thinking the sound error was due to my television set, where the sound would die out. I tried moving to a different TV set and saw the same results. In any case, if it can be fixed in the emulator, then that would be awesome.

Anyone managed to get the sound problem fixed using beta 1.6? I tried it and the sound problem is still there.
=( I can't wait until the sound is perfect.

Did you try going into the Nulldc.cfg and making the sound buffer 2048?

MvsC2, tested with b1, b1,5 & b1,6, using nullPVR & nullAICA (soundbuffer 4096), works great, no sound lags or gfx glitches on my PC.
all plugin settings, execpt soundbuffer are default

So you're saying when you pick Ryu and do his super hadouken, you don't see that the hadouken sprite is split up into sections, showing horizontal lines that would reveal the what's behind it?
And when you pick Ruby Red and play for a couple of rounds (5-10) and do her supers, you don't hear the sound and music fading out and sometimes it does come back and doesn't?

Just to note, increasing the sound buffer will _add_ lag to the sound.Don't do it unless the sound is clicky..

How do I save mvc2 cheats with NullDC cheater?
How do I increase the frame rate from 50FPS to 60 FPS?
Why does the game lag when I do a hyper combo?
When I pause the game, why is the menu in ancient hieroglyphics?

Hum .. i dont know.Maby ask the author/read nullDC cheater readme (if it has one) ?

You use correct bios region so that it matches the game.HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THAT.If the game is pal, and you have pal bios its likely to run correctly at 50 rps.Using vga(0) cable may work too, but that has quite a few compatibility problems.
Why does the game lag when I do a hyper combo?
To make the combo easyer ?.Seriusly tho, i dont know.Ndc lags ? Game lags ?
When I pause the game, why is the menu in ancient hieroglyphics?
That seems to be some bug w/ sorting.Disable Sorting from the pvr menu(s).

I completed the game with all charaters, no sound issues, but sometimes the emu crashs(not often).
