Ok, I've been reading and it seems that everyone is having good speed, like 75%-100%. It seems they are using the double speed option. However...when I click the double speed option, the game just crashes and closes. Does anyone know what's wrong?

It might happen that your rig doesn't support that feature (?)

Or that the others have really good specs, because many persons can play Super Mario 64 DS at good speed whereas I'm still at a 45-60% speed :(

if you read other posts, then u shoud have read the screenshot section where i posted that that occurs while playing at double speed with sound on, and yet if you disable the sound the game will freeze at end of battles.

so the solutions:

if you play with sound play on normal speed only, and i asure u it plays rather well, speed is 90%-100% in houses and 60%-70% outside with a few frame skips from time to time...

and someone also posted that the freezing of the game can be solved by turning on sound when it freezes, and waiting till it unfreezes, and then u can turn sound off again...

but to be safe i recomend playing normal speed with sound on

well with ultimate disaster 100% i was getting around 60% at the first and second city outdoor and inside a house i was getting 90%.In the third city although it increase to 90-110% outdoor and 100-120 indoor!!Amazing huh?
In battle i was always getting 100-120%

ultimate disaster 10% does it even worse, for some strange reason it's the fastest.....after listening to it on a slow game with some sound-skipping and static thrown in I get a headache after 30s of listening...it's gotten better though...it used to be after 10s.

I am very prone to headaches :(...or maybe I already sorta had one at the time...Phoenix Wright with sound on was threatening to give me headache though when looking at the Court-folder for like 10 minutes.

It's not the quality when it works...it's the static noise (no I don't mean the actual music and sound skipping which occurs when the sound is not 100%...this get's amplified more and more the faster you force the emulator to run.
Some games you actually need the sound for...
