ok...so i love the emu...its one of the best DC emus that I've come across...but i would like to Suggest a "save state" function to be implemented, this would help alot with games that cant detect the memory cards and it would be very useful in other games if you want to save in the middle of a level....i dont know if it can be done....but it would be very cool if it can :D

also i think that this has come up before....but also implementing a fps limiter would be a godsend! :D

Speed (FPS) limiter is already implemented in the AICA plugin...

yes i know about the buffer size thing...but i mean limit to a specific fps eg. 45 or 30 :D

but that is just a minor thing....what i really want is the "save state" thingy :D

Save states are not likely to be implemented in the near future.

drkIIRaziel why wouldent they be implemented in the near future?....I'm not saying next release....but somewere down the line perhaps...the whole reason i wanted save states is to maybe get around the Spawn in the demons hand memory card detection error, but it would benefit everybody :D

i know making save states will prob be hard and will be alot of work to do...but it would be a good thing to have :D

It's far more easy to fix the memory card problems than to implement save states. Plus, save states ruin the experience most of the time. There are no Dreamcast games that don't have saving and if they don't allow you to save often there must be a good reason.

lol..true....i suppose fixing the prob with the memory cards not being detected would be easier...but how is the question :D

It would have been "fixed" even before the release if there was enough time. The problem is actually game dependent. It happens on a real dreamcast too. nullDC emulates the dreamcast memory card (the GUI says "VMU" but this is actually wrong), not the VMU and some games cannot save on a simple memory card, they require a VMU.

is there a way to fix this problem....if so can i do it or must i wait for a new version to come out that hopefully fixes this problem?

Nothing except waiting...

I didn't feel like making a new thread so I wanna ask a question. will there be any nice background picture for the next release ?
