Small problem with Shenmue

Shenmue seems to be working like a charm, though using the nullPVR graphics plugin the journal doesn't show up, I'm assuming it does with the chankast video plugin because it did on chankast. Is there anything to be done besides just using the chankast video plugin (which isn't nearly as nice)? Also, does anyone know if it freezes on the last day (or nearly last day, I forget) down at the docks every single time like it did with Chankast?

Same problem here.When I try nullpvr i can't read journal.BUt when i play with chankastvideo Ryu after a while goes semi-transparent.

when i first loaded the game up with nullpvr, the journal was invisible. but then i walked around for a minute, and brought the journal back up and i was able to see it

Journal does show up for me, however the middle of the left page is "buried" in the journal's cover.

aye, i had the same problem, but i found you can flip the page back and forth to get glimpses of what shows on it. quite annoying, but do-able

And i still dont know what to do, so that Ryo doesnt look like a ghost.
Character only appears like that when walkin outside in a daylight.

Doesn't the transparancy thing also happen with nullPVR? I've been playing with the chankast video plugin, and so far its better than using chankast since chankast had serious audio problems, and also that freezing bug on day 3 (or something) of working at the docks, which I dont know if nullDC has (yet.)
