I don't want to play ugly hacked up warezed copies, would rather play my originals that I ripped myself. Please add support for these images!

Edit: NM, seen the bit about "GDI" files. Oh yes :) Can't wait to test.

So, this emulator can run original dumps? That's very interesting, it's the big gripe I always had with Chankast....

From the readme
Please note that original Dreamcast discs (GD-ROMs) are special discs that cannot be accessed by common PC DVD/CD drives.
Because of this it is not possible to run these discs directly on an emulator. The only way to run such a disc is
to make a backup copy (a dump) of it using some "special" methods either by using a Dreamcast or a modified PC DVD/CD drive.

Also Darkfalz if you ripped your games why cant you play them?

yes, I read that... just wondering that if you, say, would make a full dump from Skies of Arcadia, if you could run that one in the emulator... meaning a "true" GD-Rom image and not some "hacked" rip with things cut out.

I can play them, but it's always been my dream to re-play them at high resolution with AA and AF enabled!

First impression of nullDC, the emulation is already a long way, but the presentation needs a lot of polish. Definitely a beta :) But it's exciting to have anything released.

hmm, alright i have the raw files to my games but i am having a hard time understanding the documentation about running them. do i make a txt file with the formating you presented in the documentation in the same folder as the raw files then rename it to .gdi? thanks for any help you can provide me with.

Yep, it's all a text file with a .GDI file extension, and should be in the same directory as the dumps. ;)
