I can't answer ur first two question. Epsxe new version isn't out yet, but it's going to be out sooner or later, so wait for later updates here, Pete's Gpus could be found in the Playstation column at the website:D

Being more specific would help us help you. How is it not saving? In what games is it not saving? Your configuration would also help.

try hitting F4

If its ff9, ryoga is right, you just press f4 once before saving and then you can save your game.
