This is illegal?

I am owner of many consoles, between them one gamecube (that does not work, and I do not have plans to repair it) and of one Wii. I have several original games of gamecube that cost me a fortune (but happily to have them :thumb:).

My cuestion is: It is illegal to prove my games of gamecube in an emulator like Dolphin, if my console does not work? or with having a wii it stops being illegal?.

Sorry if my cuestion is stupid (or if it has already been asked before) and by my ugly english :laugh:.

as long as the games are YOURS and not downloaded, yes, you can run them legally

Yes, they are all mine, they are original, box, discs, manual, etc. nothing is compared to that:) :thumb: thanks to respond.

Check your local copyright laws if you're really concerned about it. But NGEmu takes the safe side approach and we only offer support for those playing legitimate games and self made backups, not internet downloads. Some countries may not be so keen on making your own backups; other countries are okay with downloading backups.

I'd be more concerned with getting those Gamecube games on to your hard drive than with the legality of the situation, though.

I am from Argentine and do not know the situation of the laws in my country. If there are the laws, they are not applied as they must be. You can buy 1 nonoriginal game of ps2 as if you bought candies in any store.

And that, I know there is nothing prevents me that downloads, shares or deals games of any type or programs.

With music is so different, and this beginning to give conscience and to arrest bands that deal with music.

sometimes, all we have downloaded something that never we have bought, who says that “not”, lies.

Many that reads this post can say that I am an idiot to spend the money that I gain in original games and the truth is that, I feel that I deserve original things not cheap copies of which I like.

I am fan of resident evil and have had to buy one gamecube and one paysatation2 to be able to play and believe that I deserve myself to play with original games, although these are expensive for my, and I have bought wii (because she is but cheap that playstation 2 :emb:) although I have had left in the ruin economically :( .
