Controller help

I got a problem with the controller config. on the pSX emu.
I use the WASD for my Up down left right config, but for some reason when i try to use A and D for left and right, it wont go in. A and D doesn't seem to work for any of the buttons. Any help would be great.

EDIT: I read up on it. Can someone just tell me if i can fix it some way? If not close please.
