Just a quick question... sorry if it's been asked before (I searched and nothing came up.)

Just to clear things up first: yes, I have both necessary BIOS files and the FIRMWARE.BIN, in the no$gba directory and properly named. Also, I've encrypted the ROM with eNDryptS... worked fine.

Still, no luck trying to play the game. I don't get the ROM has crashed error (that you would get if any of the above steps were missing)... Rather, it looks like it's going to load, but then I just get a black screen with white text saying (in Japanese, because it's a Japanese game) "Couldn't load data -- turn off the power and re-insert the cartridge." What a bummer.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Are there any other files I need for no$gba or anything I need to do to the ROM? Or is it an incompatibility with the ROM itself?

In the meantime, I guess I'll try downloading the English version (Phoenix Wright) to see if that works. Any help would be much, much appreciated.

Umm, you do need to setup the Save Type of the game.
