I just found out that a new version of iDeaS has been released.
Get it at:
generationX.it - La Community della Grande N (Nintendo) - iDeaS (http://www.generationx.it/ideas)
(Go to downloads and click on Scarica)
Here's the changelog:
Added LZ77UnComp function.
Fixed a bug in EEPROM management.
Fixed a bug in CpuSet function.
Fixed a bug in Texture management.
Fixed a bug in Extend Palette.
Fixed a bug in BGxCNT register.
Fixed a bug in 3D stacks.
Fixed a bug in MMU functions.
Fixed a bug in load roms.
Fixed a bug in IRQ routines.
I have not yet tested this to see if there are any improvements, but considering the that the last version was not much better as far as I could tell and the small name-number increase I am not to hopefull, but it still deserves a look.
Edit:
Hmm I take that back. There seems to be increased compatitbility. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller works now, I am not sure how playable it is as I don't have the time to test further at the moment, but it can at least go ingame (still with the funky text thing happening, same as Nightmare Troubadour has).
Also Phoenix Wright has this weird glitch, where an image got stuck to the screen when looking at the court folder and graphics vanished when looking at the evidence and eventually it crashed. That seems to have been eliminated as far as I can tell from 2minutes testing and trying to confuse it like I did in the past.
Save type options now available, EEPROM 4kbit, EEPROM 64kbit and FLASH 2mbit
