Pokemon D/P black screen

Hello, everyone...i'm kinda new into this topic of DS emulation...so plz don't start insulting me if i ask something that you consider obvious.

Anyways...i managed to load Pokemon Diamond on no$gba 2.3d, it loads the firmware, and after displaying the "gamefreak presents..." image it goas black and nothing else is displayed.

I would like to know if it is just me, or it is supposed to happen. If not, please help me to get this problem solved

PD. By the way... i got the firmware, the bios and everything else to load it.

it does that when you reach there, you have to press start before it gets to that point.

Well...after waiting looong time...title got displayed...is this normal or it's just me?
