View Full Version : I can't get Metal Slug X to work in PSXfin

It seems to not run in any emulator, I'm unsure why. It gets to the character selection scheme and after I choose a character, it locks up...

I have a legal copy of the game and ripped the ISO myself.

It'd be nice to play Metal Slug X legally in emulation...

I'm unsure why Playstation emulators don't like the ISO or the CD...???

Hmm... maybe you should never use .iso format again. It sucks. You should rip your game to ccd/img/sub for best results, and Alcohol 52% is free for you to do this with. What BIOS are you using?

I've tried the .BIN format *instead of ISO* as well with no success...

Try that. May not work, but at least you'll have tried either way. Also, a good idea would be to try using a PAL BIOS. If neither of these work, then you know that the game simply isn't compatible at this time.
