psX Linux WIP build

I have uploaded a linux WIP build:

http://filexoom.com/files/17578/pSX_wip.tar.tar

You will need linux kernel >=2.6, GTK+-2.0, OpenGL, ALSA and perhaps some other things I have forgotten.

Please note that this is not finished although most stuff is working except the CDZ conversion dialog and some of the error message dialogs.

I would be interested to hear if anyone is able to run it and whether or not you have any problems

This is my first ever Linux app so please be kind

Umm. That's a WIP for the forum members just so pSX Author can get some knacks worked out before the official release... I hope you got permission from him before posting this on such a large forum like this one or at least edit the topic title so people won't think that this is an officially released linux version.

Plus, your link doesn't work.

Please delete that link before you use up pSX Author's bandwidth. Use this (http://filexoom.com/files/17578/pSX_wip.tar.tar) link instead. For a 0.5 MB file, it has about 19.5 GB of monthly bandwidth available to it. That should be enough.

Ok, I edited the quote just as a preventative measure (because rockmangames hasn't come back yet).

Because the Linux port is now an official release, I removed the WIP build, rendering that link in the first post useless. Might it be a good idea to change that link to the pSX Download page here at NGEmu (since the thread itself probably still attracts attention, it might be good to have a working link to the latest release)?
