I know it can play gba now can it play things like pokemon silver which is gameboy color? or is there something special to do to it?

No, no$gba only runs Game Boy Advance games and Nintendo DS games.

Well, you can. Try VBA LINK multiplayers:
VBA Link Cable Emulator HELP (http://www.vbalink.info/vba-link-help.htm)
That's why I used the both no$gba and VBA for differences reasons. :)

Yeah, but he's trying Game Boy Color games, which don't work on no$gba ;)
For Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, use only Virtual Boy Advance

TGBdual can do multiple gameboys, as can BGB. Additionally, there's No$GMB, the GB/GBC version of No$GBA.

VBA is better to my opinion. :)
