I've been trying to access the forums on their website for the past couple of days with no luck, are they down for good? I hope not, because I submitted a bug report regarding primitive placement and it would be a shame if that disappeared. (interesting thing is, PSemu pro plugins have a similar bug, so I'm betting it's an inaccuracy in documentation of the PSX hardware spec, which I've seen happen before in the SNES and is just now getting fixed)

does PSXauthor frequent these boards? Maybe I can get an answer from him and hopefully we can get this bug resolved. :)

edit: it seems as though all of proboards54 is down, but for how long? Also, does anyone know the best way to get in contact with PSXauthor? Thanks

Works fine for me. I'm actually checking out the forum as I type.

teh hell? we are browsing the same URL right?

pSX emulator - Home (http://psxemulator.proboards54.com/index.cgi)

well if you could, since you have no trouble accessing it, can you check and see if they ever replied to my "inaccurate primitive placement" post in the "emulator bugs" thread? :>

Works fine here.

Here is the response by pSX Author btw:
I know about this issue. It is caused by not knowing the exact rasterization rules for the GPU. To figure it out exactly will be quite hard and will require me to write a lot of tests to run on a real PS1. I am not bothering with this for now because the bugs it causes are relatively minor.

Works for me too. Try clearing your internet cache.

I know, I was 3 minutes late with my response. I have to work on my response times.

I figured as much. Hopefully he will get working on that soon :>

Maybe he should team up with byuu. If byuu can do to PSX accuracy what he has done with SNES accuracy, then we'd be completely set :D

byuu is doing an excellent job with bsnes and it would be great if he teamed up with pSX Author since it seems that their goals for their emulators are very similar in terms of accurate emulation but I think that he prefers to work alone on pSX emulator. I think it's one of those self-challenge type of things. I can't speak on his behalf though.
