What is the best setting for at fast framerate?

My Pc has
768mb of ramm
and a 3200mhz processor

yet whenever i try playing a game its plays in a vert small frate rate around 4 or 5 fps. My friend tried it on his pc and it ran somewher around 65fps.

any suggestions?

With pSX you shouldn't have FPS issues especially with your rig. Sounds like a PCSX2 query. Anyway what game are you trying to play?

well its not even to play a game the main .Rom1 one starts out very slowly.

PCSX2 requires a powerful processing unit to produce Playstation 2 games at decent speeds.

I can see people confusing ePSXe with pSX. It says "pSX emulator" and people can say "oh, ePSXe is a PSX emulator....ok!" but with PCSX2....it's not even related.

Have a look in the PCSX2 section (http://forums.ngemu.com/showthread.php?p=718442#post718442) and check out the stickies, etc. You can post in there if you want, but be warned that you are probably getting totally normal results.
