Hi,
I'm trying to use a mouse instead of a joypad for Dolphin and Project 64 but it doesn't sem to work. Do I need to have a joypad? If so, is there any particular type of joypad that I need to get?
God bless,
Phil.

Hello prephil and welcome to NGEmu forums.
You'll need too use Nrage plugin and configure it in order to use the mouse in PJ64.For Dolphin....I don't know.

i have just purchased a usb controller from ebay which is basically the same as a ps2 controller which works great but i think any joy pad will do the job. heres a link to the controller i have eBay Search: Find Items (http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%2Fws %2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=pc+controller&category0=)

What is exactly your problem? Because you just need to setup the pad with Nrage and it should work without issues.

Damned when tired I should stop to post for a while. I've taken you for prephil.....tsss. I should have told you not to hijack someone else thread and go solved your issue in the other thread you created...bah , let's go on. Back on topic.....
OK I gonna give you mine I never had problems playing with:As you got a PSX like controller (Left: button for the N64 pad, Right: button for your pad)
A: Cross (3)
B: Square (4)
C button down: Circle (2)
C button up: Triangle (1)
C button left: L1
C button right : R1
Left trigger : L2
Right trigger: L3
Start : Start (obviously) (10)
Z : R2
For the D-pad and the analog I guess you know how to set them. This is the configuration I had for my ancient pad. I remember my cousin preferred set the C-buttons to the right analog stick. As you want.
