View Full Version : my pcsx2 crashes!!

hey ppl... i need some help. when i run pcsx2 with zerogs plugin, i get the following errors in my ps2 output window:

*rom1 not found
*rom2 not found
*erom not found
*gif reset
*ntsc
*failed to create hardware device, creating software
*gs warning:need atleast 2 simultaneous render targets. some zbuffer effects will look wrong
*gs warning:need independent write masks! some z buffer effects might look bad
*gs warning:need mrt post pixel shader blending for some effects
*gs error:device doesnt support alpha blending for 16bit floating point targets.
quality will reduce
*creating effects
*creating extra effects
*vmhack

so, can help me with this problem??? i wud be very greatful to you!!

Well it has extra errors, but first we need to your your system configuration. Like your processor, videocard, Windows version and other things.

This is most likely wrong but could be the case. Have you moved any of the things around inside the PCSX2 folder?, and also remember that you need a PS2 BIOS ripped from your own PS2 for the emulator to work.

well, i have:
P4 3.06 Ghz Processor
512MB Ram
Intel 915G Chipset motherboard
Windows XP MCE (SP2)

and also, i do have my ps2 bios in the bios folder..

You do have the bios? then i guess this error won't show up :

*rom1 not found
*rom2 not found
*erom not found

But in your case , it is showing up, did you dump your own ps2 bios or did you get it from the internet?

check the config guide made by bositman , look at the sticky ^_^

The rom1, rom2 and erom error shows that the bios has not been dumped

as for the GS errors, its due to weak Graphics cards
