Look at the Screenshots thread to see how other peoples' systems perform.

You already asked this question in another thread, and had several responses. If you're not sure about upgrading, then don't. Save your money until you have enough for a better machine.

just give up on pentium d, since coreduo (far better than pentium d) already released, if you're on budget get e6300 it's best for for that.

The Pentium D is not that much of an improvement compared to the Pentium 4.

And although it technically has support for dual core mode, it's very slow even when compared to an Athlon64 X2. So I'd say no, since prices between the Core2Duo and Pentium D is closing in, and Core2Duos are much faster compared to it.

pentium D aint that bad for most gaming though its for the budget friendly.
