AMD Throughbred 2500+ @ 1814 Mhz (Overclocked)
512 DDR RAM PC 2700
ATI R9550 (Overclocked)
Windows XP SP2
pcsx2t (VM version crashes may be 'cause i've got SP2 windows or some other reason)
ZeroGS non SSE2 0.96
Final Fantasy X running from iso or just bios

Normal is just 10-15 FPS ingame SLOOOW
Frame skip - nothing happens - just the same way as normal mode
VU Skip - picture is updating very laggy, less then 1 time per second, while there is 30-40 FPS displayed on the top of the window and the game runs faster, sound is not so slow.
Is this the best way frameskip could work on my specs? Can it be 10 FPS on the screen and the game work realtime? :innocent:

Frameskipping in pcsx2 is there for people who are getting 40fps get games to run fullsped. Your PC is far to old/slow to expect more than 15fps on. And you cant use the VM version because the EErec in it relies on SSE2 which your CPU does not support (again because of its age)

with such an old computer, you dont have any other choice then to play on your ps2 as even if the emulator was to reach v1.0, you still wouldnt be able to do anything with this hardware, probably not even pc games

Normal 25 FPS
Frameskipping AND VU skip give 1 FPS on the screen anp 40-50 FPS written on the top of the window same as the sound speed. Is there any way frameskippin work normally?

That's really how PCSX2 is doing frameskipping currently.

Too bad, hope it will be fixed soon - very useful function :)
