hey ... that strange ... i played ROTK X long time ago using version 0.9.1 ...
at first ... disable all vurec / eerec, and just keep pressing start so that skip the fmv and go directly to the main menu ... then savestate ... and then quit ... start again using enabled all eerec and vurec ... loadstate ... viola the game starts ... (haven't check with 0.9.2 yet though)
the game is quiete light ... using my AMD 3000+ @ 2.62Ghz (FX-55) is running at 30-40 fps ...

edit : not working anymore with version 0.9.2 the movies just freeze cannot be skipped ... it works with 0.9.1 though ... use version 0.9.1 to play it ...

the recompilers that do the job of the ps2 processors.
In short, its what allow you to go beyond 1 fps ;)
you can disable them through the cpu menu in config

Ok. There is some progress. I diabled the verec and eerecs. I get the Pscx Title screen which softly and very slowly goes away. Then its black...I am hitting start key. But...there is nothing but blackness...I will try different graphical plugins. Thanks for the help.

i'm using zerogs kosmos 0.95.2, sound peops 1.4.0 ...
patience ... without eerec & vurec the fps would be very slow since its only interpreter doing the job (depending on the cpu power, my FX-55 rated only gets 2-4 fps, while my conroe @ 3.35 Ghz gets 7-10 fps ) ...
actually there is no need to keep pressing the start key ... u should see the fmv in slow motion (those 2-4 and 8-10 fps ...)
pressing the start button will help to avoid getting into "misterius loop" which is accured in all version before 0.9.2 ...
