and how do you play first person shooters with this emulator can you use a mouse or just with a keyboard and controller?

YES

But the few PlayStation 2 games with mouse support work with standard PC-compatible USB mice anyway.

PCSX2 should require a different usb plugin than the default one provided, to allow mouse operation. And even with that, I'm not sure if it'd work.

yep, i played Half life and FF7 dirge of cerberus with mouse and keyboard. thats sweet :D

I'd say your graphics card looks decent...however your cpu just sucks...mines is worse though. get a basic dual core at least and your good to go i think.

This USB plugin should allow usb mouse operation inside games. Didnt try though...

Thats errmm totally false. That usb plugin was experimental and it was nowhere near emulating the usb ports let alone a mouse.

Well, figures it didnt appropriately enough emulate port, since its not part of the regular PCSX2 release (yet?).

But in all cases, I thought thats the plugin whose progress to monitor, for such uses. Though USBnull is probably more stable, 'd be just like when SPU2 plugins werent mature enough and sticked with no sound for years)

Well that hasn't been worked on since 0.8 and no one has continued development of it....so as you said usbnull is now more advance and more stable,so no point in linking to an old and uncompatible plugin ;)

How well will my PC run? (I don't care about the graphics):
Pentium 4, 3.2 Ghz Prescott
1GB DDR ram
256MB Radeon 9800XT
