Your computer is too slow for most PS2 games to run in a good speed for your CPU. In that processor, only MTGS will work.

Would you be able to work in china only with an english-chinese dictionary?
Thats what you are asking your computer to do.
This is still a work in progress so you cant expect everything to run perfectly at full speed. If that is what you are after, play on your ps2 or even play the game you mentioned.

You shouldn't be that mad dude, i'm playing FFX with like 15-30 FPS and i still like it, but 5 Fps is a little weird for your cpu which is dual core, you should be getting at least 20 fps, and your graphic card SUCKS (maybe thats why).

normally the videos are boosted to 60 FPS, but could you please try to do this:
1. Use ZeroGS with worst quality.
2. Enable all options from the cpu menu, use VU Skip.
3. Post your results.

you are aware that the video trailer on pcsx2.net is not actually how the game really plays? They have been speeded up for the video...

Try to disable frame skip, and check ALL boxes on CPU config menu.

I have an older video card (ATI x300 on a laptop). I found similar results as you (i.e. even the ps2 configuration - I have yet to rip any of my games to my laptop - ran extremely slow with the ZeroGS 0.96.0 on lowest settings) I was getting about 10 fps or less. Then I switched the Graphics plugin to GSDX9 (MSVC 14.00, sse2) 0.9.0. The plugin is available with the latest release.
Configure this plugin as follows: Windowed, Direct3d, Pixel shader x.x
I have up to pixel shader 2.0, but setting it to pixel shader 1.4 increased the FPS in the playstation configuration from ~10 fps to 30 fps, without reducing the quality too badly.
My specs are: Pentium M 760 2.00 GHz, 1 GB DDR2 Ram, 80 GB 5400 rpm hdd,
I managed to increase my fps from about the 10 mentioned above to 40 (~65% full) by doing what I described above, as well as setting the process to Realtime, and high (in the XP task manager and Run --> Process Priority --> high respectively) and also using ATItool to overclock my video card. I believe it can also OC nvidia cards. I increased Core/Memory from 300 MHz/216 MHz to 410 MHz/310 MHz. Anyways hope that helps.
