I have one question....

Have we a link between drivers version and compatiblity of emu?!?!?!?
Me and my friend have almost identical spec (pentium d 2.8 o/c to 3.4 (my) pentium d 3.0 (him) video - geforse 6800 gs, 1gig ram, mb-asus

i can play with emu quite welll, he - almoust not. system and windozzz in perfect state...

But i prefer oficial drivers (better with sertificate). He - optimized by side programmers (like o2 pacage, etc) mabye its a problem (mozhet zdes sobaka zaryta) ???



and what drivers are preferable for emu?!?!?!?

Tell your friend if he likes tweaked drivers to download Xtreme G forceware drivers from tweaksrus.com i use them and they really gain fps in PCSX2.

My hunch? His motherboard is slow. I'm not joking, badly made as well as badly configured motherboard could cause performance to drop like a fly.

What's so bad on Asus mobos ?

Well, I'm not really saying that Asus mobos are bad, but in every manufacturer, there's a really badly made mobo out there......

I forgot what the model name is but a friend of mine has an Asus motherboard, it has a Pentium 3 900Mhz processor as well as a GeForce processor and 256MB RAM but for some reason his other computer, a Duron 750 with a RivaTNT2 vcard is considerably faster.....

Well, I'm running on ASUS till I was a tiny little boy (ok, that's not that long ago), and I can't complain. They did some nasty things (like PEG link, SIS chipsets suck from my own experience...), however were allways great clockers and stable.... mostly...

Well, because Natan1981 said he and his friend have near identical processors. But he says at his friends PC PCSX2 was quite slow.

So my hunch is that it's the motherboard. Where can you blame the poor performance?

2 developers.. eeerrr... sorry, but i still dont now, have we a link between driver ver and working of emu ( not only video, but a motheboard, sound etc.) and if working of emu depend somehow from drivers, you recommendstion?!?!?!?!?!?

I don't think that drivers very valuable for emu, because I tried to install different drivers and FPS rate was same all the time.
And what about speed in PC games ? Is there any difference ?

so, i install tweaked driverzzz for video and new driver for mobo.. no difference...


should we forgot about this??? or...
