View Full Version : FFX-2 double video playback

finally finished FFX on this emu almost problem free. everything works, including all of the extras bosses like nemesis :thumb:

anyway, i know theres a macro blocking problem with videos in FFX and other games, but in FFX-2, instead of macro blocking, there is a flashing copy of the same video on the bottom of the screen. I'm still getting around 33fps, and i'm thinking of this "video copy" is avoidable the videos might just be perfect.

i just tried it and it makes it worse now. instead of one video playing perfectly and the other flashing, the entire video flashes and and gives me no fps benefit (not really complaining about speed, since you've posted that speed is sacrificed for compatibility)

edit: i guess i just wanted to know if this is a global problem or if it's fixable.

i got exactly 27FPS with my l33t Conroe E6700.

i got my e6400 at 3.4 thats why :D tuniq tower cpu HSF is AMAZING!

i actually had it at 2.8ghz with that second ss because i'm still trying to see how far i can push my ram without my system dieing :thumb:

anyways back on topic, anyone know if this is just a emulator problem or if i messed something up?

yes!!!! I found it!!!!!!

I`m going to play ff-2 too!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!
... but... no sound there, and becouse of it... no subs (its to fast) is it fixable???

yeah I had the same problem as natan. Is it because NTSC-US version?
