Go to the gsdx9 configuration and select fixed pipeline.

It is because your graphic card doesn't support pixel shaders, select Fixed pipeline in the GSdx9 config.
Edit: JkKdArK beat me to it :p

hmmm, it worked, but very VERY slow, why?
JKKDARK
September 19th, 2006, 03:33
Well, your video card is old. Get a new one, or wait for the next versions.
ShendoXT
September 19th, 2006, 03:34
Probably because of your pc specs and the fact that PCSX2 is a W.I.P (Work In Progress) emulator.
Husam
September 19th, 2006, 03:34
nah its not that old, it works good with other games, maybe il wait for the new version, thanx
ShendoXT
September 19th, 2006, 03:37
Well I'm not sure what the new version will bring but an upgrade is always recommended,
mainly because your video card doesn't support any feature required.

I did what JKKDARK said and it won't evet let me choose the CD to run now....I get the "Error opening CDVD Plugin" the instant i press File-->Run CD
Any ideas what now?
Oh yeah.....At the video card test i get :`( at the Separate Alpha Blend....The rest of them have the ^_^ sign so i take that as a good sign :P
I tried changing the "Graphics" and the "CDVD" and a thing happenes... On the black window in the backround something like this appears first (right after i chose the ISO file)
**************
erom NOT FOUND
**************
And then it just sais that it's loading some things and just crashes

Read the PCSX2 config guide (http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-official-forum/58506-pcsx2-configuration-guide.html).

I did but no good.....It still crashes......Could it be because of my BIOS or something?

make an iso and use the linuzzappz cdvd plugin

The video card is not that good but this is stupid...I can play things like Splinter Cell 3 and NFS Most Wanted and not this? Oo
JKKDARK....I tried that and I only have the ISO

You have a non-sse2 processor, that is why PCSX2 is crashing, you will have to disable EErec and VU's which will result in low framerate.
Btw: Run pcsx2t.exe.
As for video plugin use GSdx9 with fixed pipeline.

And again.....If I use 2t one and disable the EErec and VU's it just crashes....If I use the GSdx9 and not turn off those it sais something like "patches not found can't apply patches"....What the hell is that? Oh yeah....It sais that but doesn't crash anymore...Instead it sais it's reading sectors (in the backround)....
If i'm not bothering too much...Where can I get an already configured PCSX2 with plugins (no BIOS) from? :D
P.S. I found another topic here about the compatibility of some games and damn this emulator is unstable....I don't even think that it's my computer's or my setting's fault anymore -.-

Where is this "fixed pipeline" option you guys are talking about? every time i try to go to configure the gfx...these are the options I'm given...
Resoution: (drop down bar)
Renderer: (drop down bar)
Shader: (drop down bar with nothing in it)
and a list of check box options:
Enable palettized textures
Linear Texture Filtering
Deinterlace
Enable tv-out
Enable NLOOP hack
and those are all the options...
can you guys help me out?

I don't mean to be this cutting....but
even if you did get everything working.....pcsx2 would be a picture slideshow on your pc
it is very very very underpowered for this application, monster pcs struggle with some games

I'm having the same problem. I keep getting the stupid Error Opening CDVD Plugin message too. My specs are Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB and 2GB ram.

eww, nasty. don't use peops, EVER. this is easily the best cd plugin, restarting fixes the problem in almost all cases, but your computer is trash dookie from 2 years ago and i hope you upgraded because i run this game flawlessly.
