I can't get ZeroGS to work. I tried both the sse and non sse plugins.

Here's what the screen says, right before PCSX2 crashes when I try to use it:

x86Init:

CPU Vender name = GenuineIntel
FamilyID = 4
x86Family = Intel Pentium IV (Uknown)
CPU Speed = 2995 MHZ
.
.
.
Features:
Detected MMX
Detected SSE
Detected SSE2
Detected SSE3

Bios Version 2.0
GIF reset
creating zerogs
*********
GS WARNING: Need independent write masks! Some z buffer effects may look bad
*********
GS ERROR: Device doesn't support alpha blending for 16but floating point targets. Quality willl reduce.
*********
Creating effects
Creating extra effects
GS Using pixel shaders ps_2_b
init zerogs

Then the program crashes.
I am using a 3GHz pentium 4 laptop, with 1 gig ram, and a removable ATI X800 Mobility Radeon.

I am using the latest drivers, turned of all options in the zerogs plugin, and downloaded the latest Directx drivers and runtimes from the sticky.
What else Can I do? (The emulator will run, however, when I use the GSdx9 plugin) Game I am using it with is Kingdom Hearts, as its the only game I have that is not in storage right now.

hm which Zero GS version? 0.95.2 ?

I think the warning and error are normal on most ATI cards because Zero GS Kosmos is optimized for Pixelshader 3.0 (Nvidia 6 and 7 Series) .

about your crash, did you ever try zero GS with the TLB version of PCSX2 ?

otherwise, i don't know.

Thanks.
Using the TLB exe version worked for me.
I didn't even notice that it was there in that directory.

I've gotten KH to work with 39-43 fps in the cutscenes with no sound, and 50-62 fps ingame with sound.

Keep up the good work guys.

I have the same problem aswell. It is every thing you explained but only in SSE2 and after the PCSX2 sign comes on the program closes. Any suggestions for this problem.
