Broken Image Files

In the middle of trying to extract many of my image files using 7zip it always gives me an error that the image file is damaged or broken. I could understand it happening to one or two of my files but it happens to several of them. What does this actually mean and is there a program better than 7zip that will handle image files better.:cry:

well what are your files compressed with? if its 7zipped, there is no better program ;p

its likely your drive has been corrupted, you might need to re-rip your games if thats the case.

They came in seperate uncompressed "001-013" files which I found a little unusual. I don't think it's my drive it's the images that are the problem.
