Hey. I h ave Front Mission 3 and it seems to work only in 1.4 tried in 1.6 and 1.7 and it crashes randomly.

Now im 1.4 it does crash but less frequently. And when it does crash it says Ilegal opcode.

Any clue where i should start troubleshooting my pc?

On another note. when i try to play Silent Bomber on any version. The character goes trough the ground and keeps on falling for ever.... hehe.

illegal opcode? hmmm, maybe you need to clean the cd, or if you are playing from ISO you maybe need to remake it again.

read in the faq (http://forums.ngemu.com/problems-games/65247-troubleshooting-faq-read-first-before-you-post.html) what can be the cause of the illegal opcode (s)

does it crash in plugin based emulators like ePSXe, PSXeven, SSSPSX, or PCSX?

no it runs fine in psxeven, just the music is to high pitch, but its fine beside that.

it also ran fine in 1.3.. so i guess there is other stuff that happend in the newer versions. like i said it crashes on 1.6 and 1.7 also. anyhow. i'll just stick to psxeven. thanks for the opcode faq. i didn't thought about checking that faq. did checked the one for psx though.

Which sound plugin are you using? I suggest Eternal Spu plugin (not lite).

well i didn't use any spu since it was with psx 1.4.
but as for psxeven, i use Peops 1.9

but for my other question. regarding the game Silent bomber. any clue as to why my character just keeps falling trough the floor ? its as if the clipping is not done properly..that happens in 1.4/1.6/1.7 and in psxeven at one point i have no more textures.
