View Full Version : PSX 1.7 Graphical Problem (Valkyrie Profile)

Using the latest version of the emulator, Valkyrie Profile runs like a dream. Except there is one issue that's less of a problem, more annoying. During just about any battle sequence, when choosing your target, if I wait for more than five seconds the graphics portion will freeze up, leaving the image at a standstill on the screen.

I am still able to move my target cursor around and it unfreezes the moment I pick a target to attack, but this freezing also happens during special abilities and such. It never stops gameplay, just the image being displayed on screen. Any idea whats going on / how to fix it?

Nvidia GeForce 7900 GTX (Sli is turned off currently.)

To fix this, load pSX with the -r command.

Just go to start > run and enter the command line:
x:\psx folder here\psxfin.exe -r

You can also create a shortcut to the emulator and add the -r at the end of the command line.

This bug also happens on EPSXE, BTW.

Thankyou very much! That little annoyance seems to be gone for good now.
