PAL Games on mac PCSX

can i play PAL region games on the PCSX because i tried to play MGS on it all that came up was the piracy warning, then i tried Driver 2 all i heard were the character voices, no picture no nothing. Help!oO

I played a pal game on pcsx last night, and i didnt download any extra plugins expect for the joypad config one. But what i did was use the plugins from my ePSXe dir and everything worked fine.
