Game Error Slow Speed

I tried playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker for the Dolphin emulator, it lauched but the fps is only 4 at max. It's going so slow, what should I do?
I don't have a gamepad or keyboardy controller, but I will get one. My windows specs are Pentium 4 Windows XP, 2.5 ghz processor speed, 512 MB Ram, and DirectX 9.0c.

my plugins are, Dolphin Video Plugin (DX9) for the graphics and Dolphin GCM plugin for DVD.

should I update my plugins or get a new version of dolphin, I got version 1.03 internal beta.

This is not a perfect emulator. You can't get playable speeds.

even if my comp had the best specs like it was the ultimate gaming machine i couldnt get good playable speed?
