hello,
i have tried literally all the emulators and not succeeded in playing Legend of Dragoon. Heres what i tried and the problems i get:
i am using a ripped ISO in the .CUE format.
i have used both the SCPH1001 bios and the 41a Bios( cannot remember name).
i have installed the PPF patch for LoD
Tried ePsxe,PsxEven,Psx1.5,Psx1.6,Pcsx all get the same freezing when going into a battle.
i usually use the peteOpenGl video plugin.
there are no errors in the DOS screen.
i played it fine on PsxEven for about an hour and a half. after that, i got to the forest after the prison and whenever i go into a battle, the game black screens, but the background-music still plays. this happens with most emus, others just freeze.
I will try to make another ISO tonight, maybe it was mis-ripped.
Either way, thanks ahead of time for your help
Edit: also tried the actual CD, as well as other image formats, applying a PPF patch to the image, using an older BIOS, all without any luck. Has anyone encountered this problem before??
system specs:
tried on both my laptop:
dothan 2.13GHZ
1gb memory
x300
80GB
and also on my desktop:
3500+
x300
1gb
250gb
