I'm having problem with this plugin. I have been using it fine until I installed another windows due to technical errors on my PC. The problem is that, there is only 'Windowed' in the drop-down list of the resolution, and Pixel Shader is no longer supported. I'm pretty sure I have reinstalled my gfx driver. Is there some setting or configuration which I'm not aware of? Any help is appreaciated. Thanks.
Intel Pentium 4, 3.00GHz, 1.00GB RAM
Plug and Play Monitor on RADEON X300/X550 series
EDIT: Apparently, it has to be my graphic card, since it won't even load ZeroGS, indicating no support for Pixel Shader. Before installing this Windows, everything was supported. Any idea? :S

Try getting SP2 for your Windows install if you haven't already, and make sure you're using DirectX 9.0c;)

I'm already using Windows XP. I've been using Direct3D (are they the same anyway?). I can't remember what I used in my previous Windows though. Installed DirectX and still no difference. By the way, I just played a game (Makai Kingdom), and the sound was buggy, there is no sound during 'Invite' and all other special attacks, characters' voices are repeated multiple times. Is this due to the same problem?

no thats due to you leaving peops spu2 in fast mode instead of configuring it ;)
change it to use Async

Read my post again. I said get SP2, not XP. Meaning Service Pack 2 update from MS updates.;)

Actually, that was a typo, my bad ;)
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2, v.2055
EDIT: By the way, would it help if I mention that upon clicking 'Test' a box with 'The plugin reports that should not work correctly' appears?
Hmmm... after a day of no reply, I conclude that this problem is unsolvable. Can anyone at least help me setup the game to play in full screen? This option is not available in the drop down list, and the game runs very slowly during 3D effects...
EDIT: After some Googling, I discovered dxdiag. I also found out that my version of DirectX is still 9.0b. I seem to have a problem installing DirectX 9.0c. When installing DirectX 9.0c, right after agreeing to the terms and conditions, the message 'the components installed are now ready for use', without any sign of install. How do I fix this?
All problems fixed! :smash:
Turns out the source of the problem is neither GSdx9 nor the graphic card, but DirectX. I finally updated my DirectX to the latest, 9.0c. Upon further research, I discovered that I just need to download the distributable files for 9.0b and 9.0c, then copy all .cab files from 9.0c folder to 9.0b folder, lastly run the setup from the 9.0b folder. :thumb:
Many thanks to GeneralPlot for pointing out DirectX9.0c (I wouldn't have discovered dxdiag without this bit of knowledge ;)), as well as refraction for pointing out the fix to my sound problem.
