Pad Problem

Ok im really stuck. I can get the emulator to play games with no problems at all. Horraahhhhhh. Not!!!!!!!
When i try to configure my game pad i can only configure my buttons but not the direction buttons.
I have downloaded every plugin there is and not one has made a difference. How can you play games when only half the game pad works????

does it work in ePSXe? do the direction buttons work in other programs?

Yes. Now here is the strange part. Last night i reset the emulator. And now the direction pads work yet the other buttons dont. Its as if the whole thing has reversed itself. The plugin is the ssssxp plugin.

have you tried ePSXe? if you're using another emulator, try a different pad plugin.

Im using pcsx2 emulator. Would the epsxe pad plugin work?
