Can't get the bios working

I've got bios scph1001.bin.

I've put it into the bios folder within the pcsx folder.

When I go to select the bios from the drop-down menu nothing appears.
What am I doing wrong?

Choose bios directory in the PCSX config window.

you sure it's a working/real PSX bios? does it work in any other emulators?

I have selected the directory. If I go to select it again, it defaults to the c drive. Is that normal?

Yes, it's a working bios. I've tried it in the epsxe with no problems.

there's your problem. SCPH1001 is a PSX BIOS, not a PS2 BIOS. you either dumped or *cough*downloaded*cough* the wrong one :rolleyes:

make a new post in the PCSX2 section. i have a strict policy of not moving any threads from somewhere else into the PCSX2 section.
