Hi, I'm new to the forums and I have a question I would like to ask you guys, I stopped playing pcsx2 a few weeks ago and the graphics looked normal to me, now they look funny, and the word funny means they have bright orange/redish graphics and thats not how the game is supposed to look, it only started doing this recently, I don't know why though.

My PC Specs are as follows:

Processor: AMD Athlon XP 3100+
GHZ: 2.20
RAM:448
GRAPHICS: VIA/S3G Integrated Graphics Processor

I know these arn't top of the line specs, but all I want to do is play a 2d fighting game (Hyper Street Fighter II), and I don't think I should have any trouble running this game on my system since it's 2d and all

Back to the original question, could I have changed the plugin settings and it made it start displaying incorrect colors? Also the plugin I use is GSdx9 (without SSE) am I not using the right kind of plugin for my system or do I have incorrect options selected? I'll list them below:

Resolution - Windowed
Renderer - Direct3D (CPU option is set to Recompiler)
Shader - Fixed Pipeline (bogus)
And no options are ticked below it

Should I change the options to match my graphics card, what would you recommend i do?

Any help in advance is appreciated.

That's because gsdx9 0. now requires support for pixel shaders. That's why you're having to use fixed pipeline (note the word bogus). This will cause incorrect colors. The minimum recommended card to use is a GeForce FX 5200 or better.;)

Thanks for the response, I kinda figured I needed a high end graphics card, well no harm in trying to see if it will work though.

Well, a GeForce 5200FX can be bought for around $20 nowadays. I paid $40 for my 6200.:p So it's a small price to add pixel shading support (which is useful beyond even the needs of PCSX2).

I'd say FX5500 since the pixel pipelines on 5200 and 50% good 50% bad so it's a bet. If you get a good 5200 it'll work, if not, it won't. Buggy FX5200 are as powerfull as a Geforce 2 TI
