some limit breaks not working-ff7-ePSXe

cant get certain limit breaks to work... whenever i try to do them the game just slows down and goes into some loop where nothing happens. those limite breaks are meteorain... earth rave... those are the ones so far... so if anyone has any advise... pleaze let me know thanx
ps im running ePSXe with P.E.O.P's video plugin and playing ff7(just incase one doesnt konw)
