how can i compress the size of the cdis

well if you intend on them being compressed while you use them, you cant, if its for means of storage just compress it however you like, zip, 7zip, rar etc.

the only method i can think of you can use to make the image smaller is extract all the files, recompress all the sound/video files to a lower quality then make the image selfbootable and build a new cdi file
