I posted a thread months back about how the people who made freedo was bringing out a dreamcast version , etc. Alot of people on other emulator forums knew about it, and was hype for it.

But if you go to the persons website, well his forum is locked and the site never gets updated.

This is like a new low for the dreamcast scene, :cuss2:

If anyone has any news about it, please share it.

This is all I could find at DCemulation.com and DCemu.co.uk seems to be down at the moment. Even though I don't blame the scene on this happening, it does give the scene a bad reputation unfortunately, even though it is the doing of just one man. A shame so many people set dates and don't show anything or just talk about stuff that's never gonna happen :(

I am banned from DC emulation so i cant go there hahah. But i do post over at dcemu.uk sometimes.

Anyway, i wish the dude would give us a update. I still check back every week, but when i find a 3do around my way, i am done checking back to his site. So i hope to find a 3do soon, so my worries can go away.

You should do the same. But i think overall it would of been nice to play it on dreamcast :(

Indeed, any good emulator would be nice for the collection :)

Just being curious: What was it that got you banned?

If i can remember, i think i was talking about trading games. Or abandonware, something related to that.

I cant remember, but it was over something stupid.

that'd be too bad.
speaking of which, aside from nesterdc, what are some other emus that I really ought to give a try (I've already had good results and a lot of fun with StellaDC, GNUBoyDC and fmsxDC)?

Well I haven't tried many myself either because I'm not really interested in emulation of non-nintendo systems, but I know there is a very good SMS/GG emulator which you can find here (http://www.pascalorama.com/). It plays everything fullspeed with sound afaik, and supports savestates. It has a scrambled binary, if you want selfbooting images I think www.DCemu.co.uk has got them and otherwise www.dcemulation.com

Well I still have to play Metal Gear, instead of that lousy NES version. Have you tried it on Dreamcast Samor?

Well freedo.org is back LOL, i'm over there asking questions about the dc thing. I mean, its been months and months so he should of finish the thing by now. The only news that i hear is about a update version to freedo on windows.

And thats fine, but most people like myself is still waiting for the dc project.

They still fu**king around hahahaha. Man, if i can just find a freaking 3DO around my way, i wouldnt have to deal with this. I will keep looking for a 3do, because it seems like those freedo dudes are liars.

I'm over there asking questions, and some dude said, i dont have very good manners. I guess he wasnt around when hundreds of people heard the admin say, " The dreamcast project is on its way, Nov 25, 2005. " Then he said, i dont have patience. I'm saying to myself, maybe i dont. But the whole forum went down for months, plus before the forums went down, the admin was ignoring those who was asking him questions about it.

haha.

yes... however, MG1 uses tape saves, MG2 uses SRAM, which I think is supported in fMSXDC.... I don't think any of the MSX emulators available used save states, so that would make it a little hard to play the first MG on DC... for accuracy, I'd recommend a PC emulator (blueMSX) anyways (it's not on the level of NesterDC or something).
